What this is, and what it is not
- It draws, it does not fetch. Every mashup is made here from the 2 emoji your device already has, so there is no library of pre-made combinations behind it.
- Any 2 emoji work. There is no list of supported pairs, because nothing is being looked up.
- The result is a picture, not a character. It downloads as a PNG; it cannot be typed into a message the way an emoji can.
- It looks like your device. The same pair drawn on an iPhone and on a Pixel gives 2 different pictures.
Why the shapes are crude on purpose
A convincing mashup would need to know which part of an emoji is the face, the mouth or the ears, and nothing on your device knows that: an emoji arrives as a picture and nothing more. So instead of pretending, these 5 recipes work on shape alone. Split cuts at the middle, mask clips to the first outline, orbit places 4 copies around a circle. Crude, predictable, and honest about what can actually be seen.
