Other browsers and platforms
Android
Use Firefox for Android from the Firefox Add-ons link above. It also installs on the Chromium-based Android browsers that support extensions — Microsoft Edge, Quetta, and Lemur Browser, which accept Chrome Web Store extensions natively.
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
iOS support is planned via a Safari Web Extension distributed through the App Store. Until then, watch the GitHub repo for release news.
Samsung Internet
Samsung Internet supports add-ons through the Galaxy Store with a curated review process. We plan to submit Emojery there once the extension exits beta; for now, on Android use Firefox or one of the extension-capable Chromium browsers listed under Android above.
DuckDuckGo Browser
DuckDuckGo's desktop and mobile browsers do not support general third-party browser extensions, only their built-in Privacy Essentials package. Emojery cannot run there today and there is no install path for us to publish through.
Tor Browser · Mullvad Browser
Both are Firefox-based and the Emojery listing on Firefox Add-ons technically installs, but the Tor Project and Mullvad both recommend against adding third-party extensions . Each new extension narrows the anonymity set and can be used as a fingerprinting signal. If anonymity is the reason you use one of these browsers, leave the default extension set alone.
