How it works
- A shape falls. Move it, turn it, and land it so the rows fill up.
- A full row clears and scores; 4 rows at once are worth 8 times what 1 is.
- Every 10 rows the level goes up and the fall gets quicker.
- It ends when a new shape has nowhere to appear.
Controls
- Left and right arrows to move, up to rotate, down to drop faster.
- Space drops it the rest of the way.
- Swipe to move or rotate, on the board.
- The on-screen pad. P pauses, R restarts.
Why 4 rows at once are worth 8 single rows
1 row is 100 points, 2 are 300, 3 are 500 and 4 are 800. The curve is the original's, and it is the reason the game is interesting: clearing rows as they come is safe and slow, and holding a well open for a 4-row clear is worth 8 times as much and 1 bad shape away from disaster. The level, and with it the speed, goes up every 10 rows however you got them.
