How it works
- Turn a card over, then another. A pair stays up; anything else turns back after a moment.
- The counter counts pairs of turns, so a lucky first guess costs the same as a wrong one.
- The clock starts on the first card and stops when the last pair lands.
- Your fewest moves for each board size is kept separately: an 18-pair board is not an 8-pair board.

Why the pairs are emoji rather than pictures
A memory board made of pictures has to fetch them, and a card that arrives late is a card you have already seen. Every face here is one your own device already draws, so the board is complete the moment it appears. It also means the pairs look like your phone's emoji rather than someone else's artwork.
The deck is shuffled again on every deal, so a board is never the same twice and there is no hidden order to learn.
