How it works
- The target sits above the grid. Find the same emoji among the lookalikes and hit it.
- Each round adds cells and picks distractors that look more like the target.
- A wrong cell costs 3 seconds, so hunting beats guessing.
- The round ends at 0 on the clock, and the round number is the score.

- Tab walks the grid, Space or Enter picks the focused cell.

Why the later rounds are genuinely harder
The first rounds fill the grid with whatever comes to hand, and finding a fox among cars is a matter of looking. From round 3 the distractors come from the target's own family: a fox sits in a grid of dogs, wolves and raccoons, and a full moon hides among its own phases. The grid grows at the same time, so the search goes from glancing to scanning.
That is the part worth knowing about your own attention: a visual search is quick when the target differs on 1 obvious feature, and slow when it differs on several small ones. The game only makes the second kind.
