How it works

Controls

Why the suit count changes everything

With 1 suit every card that fits by rank also fits by suit, so every stack you build can move as a block and most deals come out. With 2 suits, a red card on a black one is legal but freezes that part of the column until you take it apart again. With 4 suits that happens almost every move, and the empty column becomes the only real tool you have. Each suit count keeps its own best.

Dealing from the stock

The stock holds 5 deals of 10. Each one drops a card on every column, including the ones you were halfway through sorting, so it is worth building what you can before you deal. The stock refuses to deal while a column is empty: fill it with anything first. The game and your best stay in this browser.
