How it works
- The snake never stops. Steer it into the fruit and away from the walls and its own tail.
- 🍎 and the other plain fruit are 10 points and 1 segment.
- 🌶️ is 30 points and doubles the speed for 5 seconds, which is where most runs end.
- 🧊 is 20 points and takes the speed back down a step, so a fast board is recoverable.
- Every 5 fruit the base speed goes up on its own.
Controls
- Arrow keys or WASD.
- Swipe the board on a touch screen.
- The on-screen pad.
- Space pauses and resumes. R starts a new run.
The chilli is the whole game
Plain snake has 1 variable and you already know how it ends. The chilli doubles the speed for 5 seconds and pays 30 points for it, so every run turns into the same question: take the fast 30 now, or steer around it and stay alive. The ice cube is the answer to a board that got away from you, and it is worth less than the chilli on purpose.
